Bonjour mes amis!
I never thought I’d be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but I had a very special welcome reception to draw at at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nawlins just last night (Monday before Mardi Gras)
I was surprised at how dead the streets were outside, but inside it was jamming - literally! They also had a 3 piece jazz band. I saw the tuba player walking down the street before the gig and had a feeling we were headed to the same spot. I was right!
Thanks Aneesah for having me out to draw a crowd for yall!
Here’s some FUN pics from the event!
and if you’d like to have me come draw a crowd for you, give me a shout out. Now that Mardi Gras is over it’s time to get down to business and get those plans cemented in!
And a lil peek inside the intercontinental hotel - they had 15’ tall paintings by George’s Rodriguez, the painter of the blue dog.
Omg that was so amazing. I did NOT expect to see an art gallery there in the lobby!
Laissez les contents roulez everybody!
