Yep! I’m a Professional Caricaturist and I LOVE my job. My goal is to thrill you and your guests with my art, speed, entertainment and service.

MY STORY

​

I've been drawing since I was a small child. My mother tells a story about how I went into my room 

and eight hours later I came out with a paper sculpture I had made and told her it was a 

"sewing machine." I was four years old. The funny thing is I REMEMBER making that.

​

I got my first caricature when I was 13 at a place called Old Town in Florida. I would stare at it wondering how on earth the artist did that. Fast forward 12 years and I was doing the same thing professionally. So you never know - one drawing could change your life!

I continued making things and especially drawing little cartoons.​​

In elementary school the boy who everyone thought was The Best Artist complimented a drawing I did. That made me realize I could draw.

In High School I won an award for a poster contest and I also drew a picture of a girl in my art class, just for fun. My art teacher, Mrs Rockefellow, saw it and said "That's a great caricature!" My very first. I was astonished. I had no idea my doodles were caricatures til that moment.

When my mom saw an ad in the paper for a job at Sesame Place (A Sesame Street Theme Park outside of Philadelphia) where they’d teach you caricature on the job, I wasn't exactly enthusiastic. I had social anxiety and it seemed a bit much for me. But my mom pushed and so I called. I got the job!  That was in 1999. I was 25. And I’ve been doing it ever since.

 

And Now you know how old I am! (shhh don't tell!)

I drew caricatures in Las Vegas for ten years before moving here to the Gulf Coast , and in the Philadelphia/NYC metro area before that. I also lived and drew caricautres in Detroit. Over the years I’ve drawn caricatures all over the greater Gulf Coast area including Pensacola FL, Mobile AL, Biloxi MS, New Orleans LA, Baldwin County AL, Birmingham AL, Destin FL, Panama City FL, and Ft Walton Beach FL. (and I will travel anywhere!) Due to my speed, I have probably drawn about a quarter of a million people in my career.

I love delighting people when they see their drawing at the end and I'm committed to making sure that everyone goes home happy. I will redraw your caricature in a different style if you don't like it!
